Title: multi in single player
Post by: Agatana on 2006-08-28, 13:37:35
Am I correct in presuming that I can't create a multiplayer coterie myself and play all the characters? I can't seem to create more than one player to play with in the multiplayer game function. Please advise. Thanks in advance. I'm not real computer literate, being 61 and basically self taught in the use of computer programs and games. Most of my outside learning is through questions such as this. Appreciate all help.

Not normally. The multiplayer feature allows for players around the world to connect to your game and play it with you. The players that connect can be your coterie.

You know, it would be pretty cool to play co-op single player with someone over the internet. Players could switch to another charactrer that is not in use (not controled by another player). What kind of coding would that require though?

Not much I think, didn't an SP version already enable you to have a party in MP?

The AoR mod allows for single player to work in multiplayer, but most the cutscenes where disabled to make the multiplayer experience more generic.
