WON is pretty much dead as a door nail with Flipside no longer willing to carry on the servers. So one major way we have been carrying on with multiplayer is through a program called Hamachi.

Hamachi allows for peer-to-peer connections over the Internet. For instructions on how to use Hamachi (and where to download it), go here:

Getting Started PDF

Get Hamachi2 Here

To setup hamachi for gaming, use this wiki:

Also check out this video tutorial for more information:

Here's a list of channels I host and maintain (channel names and passwords are case sensitive):

name=AoRMod
password=aor

name=WodalMod
password=wodal

name=EMod
password=emod

I didn't make that tutorial. Maybe it would help if you click the links and look at the video author for once?

I have installed Hamachi on my PC successfully, and I made all of required settings on my XP, but it doesn't working well. Although I can start Hamachi and I can join to either AoRMoD and WodalMod networks without any problems, but at runtime AoR doesn't shows servers in LAN game mode. Running Hamachi client displays a list of servers of neither AoR or WoDaL networks.
What may be the problem? Can anybody help me?   Huh

Try Hamachi v1015, anything newer tends to be... less friendly with Redemption.

Uninstall whatever version you got, then install Hamachi 1015, go to control panel under connections and networks (i think, mines in Spanish) and press Alt, then go to advanced options/advanced settings and move Hamachi all the way to the top, i think i also added some TCP-IP protocol, i dont remember exactly which one but i had 2 and that also helped, also be sure to disable your firewall completely otherwise hamachi wont work how its supposed to.

Well guys, I'll be damned if I can make this work.

I can see everyone in the room, I can ping all y'all, but I cannot see anybody in the LAN chatroom, let alone any games.

I'm behind a NAT firewall, so I've forwarded specific TCP/UDP ports to make this work I have green, not blue, connections for everyone. I can ping everyone's IP. My windows firewall is disabled. 4 hours I' been at this with no joy.

Any ideas anyone?

Have you tried step two of the wiki?

2. Re-prioritize your network adapter order:

For XP/2000: Start > Control Panel > Network Connections, then, on the menu bar, click Advanced > Advanced Settings and put Hamachi at the top of the list.

For Vista: Start > Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center, then, on the left side panel, click on 'Manage Network Connections'. Now press Alt, click on Advanced > Advanced Settings and put Hamachi at the top of the list.

For Windows 7: Start > Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center, then, on the left side panel, click on 'Change adapter settings'. Now press Alt, click on Advanced > Advanced Settings and put Hamachi at the top of the list.

The above is usually the cause of a lot problems. Also what version of hamachi are you using?

Did you make sure there is only one hamachi adapter? I heard some people that have tried more than one version end up with conflicting adapters in their network list. Has everyone on the channel setup properly? The problem might not be on your end. Might be on the other user's end.

okay... device manager shows 1 only hamachi adapter and I'm trying to connect into your aor channel, on the basis I am presuming your end is set up right.

The tedious thing is that I cant get it to detect the lan as hamachi. I wish I could just use that old copy of IHateWon to use the lan from hamachi instead of trying billions of different things to get it to work. I tried the bind IP ordeal and as soon as I open vamp it crashes.

See if this helps.
