You're too late, slow poke. They don't give out the beta anymore. I thought that I was clear that I've been on Vista for the past 2 years.

The biggest concern you'll have to worry about is being able to install the game. I already have a pre-install on my external drive so I never have to pull out my install discs anymore.

Yeah, if you're going 64 bit, be sure to copy your directory to external storage, the installer won't work on a 64 bit o/s. Once you launch the game, the game will make the necessary registry entries.

Yeah i read somewhere about Mordred saying that just copying the whole Installation into a CD, dont remember where... it happends that i discover this back in 2004, just before the release of Bloodlines... i had 2 partitions of a 60Gb HDD and somehow had 2 installations on each, when i wipe the the first partition redemption on the second partition was working fine... no registry! go figure hehe.

Dosent matters, i am really planning on moving to a 64Bit Version of Vista or Win7, im tired of having 4GB of ram and only be able to use lame 2.7gb for all the damn hardware i got, i want to go up to 8Gb AT least for thr moment on this new Pc, but i still dont know who will using 64bit will affect most games that i play, hopefully it wont be too much of a mess.

For all of you that has a AMD CPU and a ATi GPU there is a software called "AMD Fusion for Gaming", what it does is to shutdown all the crap of windows unused applications and services not used for games, i was able to use Left4Dead on max resolutions on 1024x768 on arround 25 frames with my turd HD3300 onboard, where if not using this application the game would run at 7 FPS on same settings and lagged really bad... so its quite a handy tool for games, but has some kind of issues when enabling HDD turbo performance option, but if you left that untouched it will work nice:

All seems good, i was able to activate my Win7... and i was also able to Install Redemption with no issues, the autorun startes immediatly... odd, i thought i would not be able to install redemption old fashioned way.

I really liked Win7x64, i was able to install XPx32 as Virtual Machine from VMWare, forget about that crappy XP mode for 7... VMWare has support for DX9.0c and pixel shader 3.

I also was able to install Win7x64 under XPx32 as virtual machine and so far works perfect... its so cool hehehe.

This is ODD or.. maybe Win7 is in fact better in performance than XP, i am getting 330 FPS Max  on Redemption on my server with win7x64, 4GB Ram... same GPU 8800GT, while in XPx32 i get arround 80 FPS max same hardware... ODD!

While in my new AMD pc Win7x64 with 2gb of Ram and same GPU 8800GT i get up to 540 fps max and 300 FPS Stable!

In the same AMD pc Win7x64 2gb ram with the onboard HD3200 i get a max of 210.

I still have to confirm other games... so Far Win7x64 beats the crap out of XPx32 in Redemption, AMAZING!

Vista was an early prototype, hence why it failed. Win7 is a fully polished OS that revolutionizes how next generation hardware is utilized. Win7 is probably the best OS made in history thus far. DX11 is a true marvel to behold. Hats off to MS for kicking everyone's ass over this one. I truly intent on buying it once the beta expires. I got awhile to financially restore myself before then.
