I still have the source code to it. I don't intend on throwing the source away.

This also doesn't mean that I wont consider doing something like this for the new game I have chosen to mod for.

I can't seem to avoid this little mod. Next thing I know I'm working on the darn thing again... what the hell is wrong with me?

I've been working on documentation of the Redemption version of Wodal for some odd reason. Isn't this mod dead?

I can't say I know.  You said you might work on it.

Plus, it would be nice to give people who have Redemption an incentive to reinstall it and play it online.  This mod alone has that potential (in my eyes).

I may have a beta ready sometime either later this month or early the next. The language seems to be coming together quite nicely. I'm trying to do things to hopefully simplify the code syntax as I write documentation that is explanitive on the process of developement. The hard part will be explaining the current commands.

I think the first beta should be ran by storytellers with a good grasp on coding logic sense I may just teach people through trial and error to start with and add more detail as the mod progresses. So the first beta will have just some documentation on what files do what and where to look, but you'll probably need to ask me about the sample code. I will be including some basic vampire abilities like Feed and Bloodhealing, but sense Wodal works VERY differently from the normal game, you'll need to read the documentation to figure out how to even add those vampire abilities to a character sense nothing will seem obvious at first.

I don't plan to have AI programming or Combat programming yet. The first launch of the mod will mainly be for VAMPIRE DISCIPLINES ONLY. This will be the first basic beta to test the code matrix out. Supporters are requested to launch anything new they develop for wodal even if it's just an early beta (an alpha really). The first launch should allow end-users to build custom discipline groups from the get-go so I encourage anyone to try out the wodal mod with a wodal programming storyteller. Players need not know ANYTHING about the language or wodal mechanics. All the players should be expected to do is download the Wodal mod and simply connect to a wodal server where a storyteller is expecting them. The storyteller does all of the coding for them and assigns disciplines to the client's characters. All the player needs to be taught is how to navigate through what the storyteller just gave them.

I'm just going to do a few more things then I'll launch a 0.1 alpha of Wodal.

I still need to implement Willpower with commands to manipulate it. I also want to add flight and weapon override commands so people can make Movement of the Mind and Feral Claws disciplines.

I don't have any Skills, Traits, Merits, ect yet, but I'll add those in later releases. You can still input ANYTHING you want into your character file and use that data in ANY WAY you want when creating a discipline script in Wodal. I'll explain more about it later this week. Actually at this rate, I hope to have 0.1a launched by this Friday.
